Managing Buckets
Once you’ve set up your Baskt buckets and started transferring files, you may need to make changes to your bucket configuration from time to time. This guide will walk you through managing your buckets in Baskt.
Accessing Bucket Settings
To manage your bucket settings:
- Navigate to the Buckets page from the main navigation
- Click on the bucket you wish to manage
- Click on the “Settings” tab
Here you can view and edit your bucket’s configuration details.
Editing Bucket Settings
In the Settings tab, you can modify various aspects of your bucket’s setup, such as:
- Bucket Name: The name of your cloud storage bucket
- Region: The region where your bucket is located (if applicable)
- Endpoint: The endpoint URL for your bucket
- Access Key & Secret Key: The credentials used to access your bucket
Simply update the fields as needed and click “Update configuration” to apply your changes.
Deleting a Bucket
If you no longer need a bucket, you can delete it from Baskt using the “Delete” button in the Settings tab.
Caution: Deleting a bucket in Baskt will remove it from our system, but will not delete the actual cloud storage bucket or any files contained in it. You’ll need to separately remove the bucket from your cloud provider’s account if desired.
To delete a bucket from Baskt:
- Navigate to the bucket’s Settings tab
- Scroll down and locate the “Delete” button
- Click “Delete”
- Confirm the deletion in the prompt
Your bucket will now be removed from your Baskt account.
