Billing and Usage
This guide will help you understand how to monitor your account usage, manage your billing information, and make changes to your subscription. We’ll cover how to access your billing information, interpret usage data, and what happens when you reach resource limits.
Accessing Your Billing Information
To view your billing and usage information:
- Log in to your Baskt account
- Click on “Billing” in the top navigation bar
This will take you to your account’s billing and usage page, where you can see a comprehensive overview of your account’s resource usage and billing details.
Understanding Your Usage
On the billing page, you’ll find a “Usage” section that displays your current resource utilization:
- Buckets: Shows how many buckets you’re using out of your plan’s total
- SFTP Users: Indicates the number of SFTP users you’ve created out of your plan’s limit
- Bandwidth: Displays your current bandwidth usage out of your plan’s allocation
Resource Limits
It’s important to note that when you reach the limits of your plan:
- You won’t be able to create new resources (buckets or users) beyond your plan’s limits
- For bandwidth, once you’ve reached your limit, new connections will be rejected
To avoid any interruptions in service, keep an eye on your usage and upgrade your plan if you’re approaching the limits.
Managing Your Subscription
Your current subscription details are displayed in the “Billing” section, including:
- Your current plan
- Next billing date
- Billing email address
Changing Your Plan or Billing Details
If you need to make changes to your subscription:
- Click the “Billing portal” button on the billing page
- In the billing portal, you can:
- Update your payment method
- Change your plan
- Access past invoices
- Cancel your subscription
Trial Period
If you’re on a trial, you’ll see a message indicating when your trial ends and when billing will start.
